JOB TITLE: Truck Dispatcher
LOCATION:  Loxahatchee, FL

Job Description:
Truck Dispatcher will handle the inbound/outbound transportation of produce products. Responsibilities will include schedule of shipments and notify customers of arrival schedules, dealing with customers, coordinating trucks for daily deliveries, pick ups and activities, maintain dispatch, maintain correct files for DOT regulations and Insurance Compliance. Manage company drivers and fleet of 10-15 tractor/trailers.
Dispatcher will also assist in other activities/duties assigned by Director of Transportation as needed. 
 
Job Requirements:
• Experienced in transportation functions with min. of a degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in refrigeration/Produce
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to maintain files 
• Basic data entry
• Attention to details of dispatch and accounting.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance, Federal and state regulatory agencies
• Knowledge of software - Windows, PCS, DAT
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed and perform other related duties as required

Education Requirement: Degree preferred or equivalent experience

Experience Requirement: 3 - 5 years in dispatching/Produce Environment

Travel Requirement: As needed
