JOB TITLE: Receiving Manager
LOCATION: Loxahatchee, FL
Job Description:
Qualified Managers will manage and coordinate daily activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and shipping produce; duties which include but are not limited to; training workers in receiving procedures in accordance with customers and managements specifications. Manager will inspect receiving area to determine quality of produce and indicate produce to be repacked or removed. Fully understand operation of all receiving equipment and computer controls. Responsible for compliance with GMP, USDA, and DOL standards. Perform other duties assigned by Operations Manager and as described under MANAGER which include; safety meetings, receiving reports and working in liaison with administration as needed.
Job Requirements:
• Managers should be experienced in receiving functions with min. of a degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to maintain files
• Basic data entry
• Must be able to work 45 hours a week and overtime as needed.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish
• Knowledge of compliance with USDA and GMP standards.
Education Requirement: Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement: 2 - 5 years
Travel Requirement: As needed
