Brett is well-known around the South Florida farming industry and his relationship with J&J extends back to the earliest days of our business.  Working with his father growing produce on a 1,400 acre farm just west of Boynton Beach, FL, they used to supply Jim and Jerry with daily produce.  “I can remember stacking boxes of pepper and squash, and they would come by with the only two trucks the company had back then and load up for the day,” he says.  In the 1980s Brett’s family farm helped to fund the development of the first bacteria resistant pepper, now an industry standard.

Since his farming days, Brett has served on multiple national boards, including the Food Safety Council of America.  His experience produce farming and his relationships with growers have made Brett an important member of the team.
