Joseph came to J&J in 2009 after being in the produce industry for ten years.  Originally, he worked at a sugar mill in western Palm Beach County.  He coordinates all of the food safety programs for J&J and its affiliate growers.

Our customers expect every step in our supply chain to be food safe and 3rd party audited at the highest levels, Joseph says.  Newer growers typically need our assistance to set up and help maintain programs that meet J&J’s rigorous food safety standards.  “Teamwork and communication are very important, and we try to build an educated food safety team in each location.  Our mentality is that everyday could be the inspection day because the highest standards becomes our routine.”
